Come April 1st, all bills will be rounded to the nearest multiple of five sen in Malaysia. I just know that it doesn't mean that 1-cent coins are useless, but that it is still legal tender for payment. "According to Bank Negara, the introduction of this mechanism is to reduce the demand for the one sen coins. However, the coin remains legal tender for payment of goods and services."
